Allen’s Nek Retail Centre
The Allen’s Nek Retail Centre was developed on a property that used to be a quarry, acquired by the brothers more than 15 years ago. Before construction could begin, dams had to be emptied and cut and fill was required.

Gezina
Builders Gezina is the oldest store in the Builders’ camp and was the first Builders Warehouse in the country to concentrate on the DIY format that it is known for today. Due to its age and the fact that the store had been added to piecemeal, it had to be upgraded to be in line with new branches.

The Watergate Shopping Centre was developed from land and covers 20 000m2. A neighbourhood shopping centre serving the needs of the Mitchells Plain community, the site is eco-friendly and solar-panelled to complement the electricity supply.
